ABOUT MATTHEW

Matthew Ryu was born in Korea and moved to Thailand at the age of three. Ever since he discovered guitar at the age of 13, he hasn't stopped playing music. Matthew is a student in Berklee College of Music receiving nearly full tuition scholarship majoring in Jazz Composition and Performance. After arriving in Berklee, he discovered his love for composition and arranging and he was recently awarded the prestigious Tad Dameron Award/scholarship from the jazz department. Matthew has played concerts and gigs, recorded music, written music, and taught music and private guitar lessons.
